Band and Orchestra
We at The Candyman Strings and Things have responded to Santa Fe’s need for a respectable shop to find woodwind & brass needs. We now carry
a full line of band and orchestra instruments and accessories. We have new instruments from Conn-Selmer, and hopefully coming soon will be Jupiter.
We have clarinets starting at about $400 , flutes starting at $275 , saxes starting at $575 (alto), trumpets as low as $279, trombones at $325, and snare drum packages starting about $200.
We also offer used instruments (depending on availability), so if you have an old instrument, we can sell it for you on consignment, or trade it in towards a new one!
Students may rent to own horns through The Candyman Strings and Things. These horns are refurbished used horns provided by the music house.
We pride ourselves on helping to build Santa Fe’s musical future, so feel free to ask us about all these possibilities. We try to carry all educational neccessities for the local public schools, including books and maintenance supplies. Teachers, if you have a specific need, we can usually special order materials with the proper notice.
All of us at The Candyman hope to support the growing musician, so ask us about private instruction from some of our many instrumental instructors.
