| Mandolin Instructors BOB BRUEN  Mandolin Bob Bruen has been playing mandolin for 40 years. Originally based in San Francisco he studied with notable composers and mandolinists, Rudy Cipolla and David Grisman. His musical path has taken him through traditional Italian and bluegrass, as well swing, jazz, rock, funk and the new acoustic genre. He has a band called Walking Rain with his longtime musical partner Coale Johnson (www.WalkingRain.org). Locally he performs with Rex Warren and the Desert Dogs, Lisa Carmen, and in a duet with Brian McLane.
